Téma rasismu v britské a americké literatuře [rukopis] / Andrea Füchsová. -- 2013. -- 69. -- Ved. práce Andrea Hoffmannová. -- Abstract: Závěrečná práce je zaměřena na rozbor děl amerických autorů Richarda Wrighta, Toni Morrison a Harper Lee. První část diplomové práce se zabývá problematikou rasismu obecně, jeho vývojem, projevy a důsledky. Dále se zabývá rozborem vybraných děl, jejichž hlavním tématem je rasismus nebo otroctví a postavení Afroameričanů ve společnosti. Těmito díly jsou Native Son, To Kill a Mockingbird a Beloved. Čtenáři jsou stručně přiblíženy životy autorů a důvody, které je vedly k napsání knihy; také obsahy děl, jejich histroickými kontexty a dalšími specifiky. V druhé části diplomové práce daná díla analyzuji. Všechna jsou určitým způsobem zaměřena na problematiku rasismu a jeho následky a i když je každé dílo svým vlastním způsobem originální a výjimečné, v určitých oblastech se prolínají. Na tyto oblasti se dále sousředím. První z nich je kapitola Rasistické postoje a druhou oblastí jsou naopak Protirasistické postoje a jejich představitelé. V těchto prvních dvou oblastech jsou rozebrány zejména postoje příslušníků bílé rasy k příslušníkům černé, proto jsem se ve třetí oblasti zaměřila na vztah Afro-Američanů k bělochům. Poslední oblast, která čtenáři pomůže získat náhled na celou problematiku a možná také lépe pochopit činy některých postav, se zabývá důsledky rasismu a vinou společnosti.. -- Abstract: The diploma thesis concentrates on the analyses of the novels written by Richard Wright, Toni Morrison and Harper Lee. The first part of the thesis deals with the issue of racism generally, its development, displays and effects. Further, it deals with the particular novels, whose main theme is racism or slavery and position of African Americans in the society. These novels are Native Son, To Kill a Mockingbird and Beloved. Readers are acquainted with the lives of the authors and with some of the reasons which have led them to write the books; also with the summaries of the novels, their historical contexts and other specifications. The themes of the novels are analysed in the second part of the thesis. All of them deal with the topic of racism and its effects and even though each of the novel is unique and original, unifying elements can be found. The first area concerned in all novels is Rasist attitudes, the second area deals with the opposite - Anti-racist attitudes, the third comments on Attitudes of blacks towards whites and the last one describes The effect of racism and the guilt of society.
