Práce je rozdělena do šesti částí. První kapitola mapuje stav bádání,druhá se věnuje adresátovi Karlu Šebánkovi, třetí potom vztahu Bohuslava Martinů a Karla Šebánka. Čtvrtá kapitola uvozuje samotnou korespondenci, jejíž edice tvoří pátou část práce. Následuje kapitola shrnující ediční zásady pro zpracováníkorespondence. Práce je doplněna soupisem korespondence obsažené v edici.Dissertation is structured to six parts. First chapter is mapping stadium of research, second one is providing biographical familiarization with Karel Šebánek. In third part is sketched out the relationship between Martinů and Šebánek. Fourth charter is dealling with its own letters. Next is the correspondence edition, which is followed by chapter, that describes edition theses of letters elaboration. Dissertation is supplemented by a list of correspondence included in edition.
