Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou současného postižení sluchu a zraku a systémem podpůrných organizací, včetně jejich činností a komplexních služeb, které jsou pro hluchoslepé jedince v ČR dostupné. Seznamuje se základními informacemi o duálním senzorickém postižení - jeho příčinách, klasifikaci, diagnostice. Taktéž se zmiňuje o současných trendech v péči o tyto jedince. Zdůrazňuje význam existence organizací a služeb pro hluchoslepé a informovanost celé veřejnosti o problematice tohoto závažného postižení.The subject of this thesis deals with the issue of dual sensory impairment of hearing and sight, and the systems of aid organizations, including their activities and complex services, which are available to deafblind individuals in the Czech Republic. The thesis will inform about essential facts of dual sensory impairment - its causations, classification and diagnostics. It also refers to existing trends in the care of these individuals, and emphasises the importance of these organizations and services for the deafblinds and also public awareness relating to the problems of this substantial handicap.
