Bakalářská práce se zabývá kompletní přípravou pacienta před vyšetřením pozitronovou emisní tomografií. Příprava započíná již v ordinaci indikujícího lékaře, má spoustu aspektů i v domácím prostředí pacienta a především po jeho příchodu na oddělení nukleární medicíny. Radiologický asistent má významné postavení v úspěšnosti vyšetření a získání validních výsledků. Práce obsahuje shrnutí jednotlivých postupů a řešení případných komplikací. Je zaměřena na edukaci pacientů po vyšetření v rámci radiační ochrany obyvatelstva. Informace a poznatky jsou dohledány na základě rešeržní činnosti odborných článků z databází (EBSCO, BMČ, GOOGLE scholar) a českých periodik.This bachelor thesis deals with the complete preparation of the patient prior to positron emission tomography examination. Preparation already begins in the doctor's office, it has many aspects to fulfill even in the patient's home environment and especially after pacient´s arrival at the Nuclear Medicine Department. The Radiological Assistant has a significant position in the success of the examination and in obtaining valid results. The work contains summary of individual procedures and solutions of possible complications. It is aimed at educating patients after examination in the framework of radiation protection of the population.
