Magden (2010) dále klasifikuje univerzální kvantifikátory each a every do podkategorie kvantifikátorů s neurčitou číselnou hodnotou. Each a every také vykazují idiosynkratické chování. Například mohou fungovat jako zájmeno. Cílem práce je shrnout různé názory a poskytnout přehled distribučního, morfologického a syntaktického chování, jakož i systematický popis anomálií v chování each a every.English nouns can be pre-modified by Determiners and Quantifiers. This thesis is concerned with the structure of a determiner phrase and morphological and syntactic properties of universal quantifiers, focusing on distributive quantifiers each and every. According to Jackendoff's observation (1997) Determiners and Quantifiers are two distinct independent categories. In contrast to Jackendoff's view, Adger (2002) places quantifiers in the determiner position. Magden (2010) classifies universal Quantifiers in a numerically unspecific Quantifier subcategory. Each and every also exhibit idiosyncratic behavior. For instance, they can be part of a compound and moreover can function as a pronoun. The aim of the work is to summarize different views and to provide an overview of the distribution, morphological and syntactic behavior, as well as a systematic account of anomalies in the behavior of each and every.
