Bakalářská práce se zabývá působením Řádu sv. Alžběty na území dnešní České republiky ve vztahu k sociální práci. Je zpracována metodou historicko-analytického přehledu. Cílem práce bylo zaměřit se na hledání souvislostí mezi posláním sester alžbětinek a sociální prací v historickém kontextu působení sester alžbětinek na území České republiky. Práce obsahuje též životopisy hlavních patronů řádu sv. Františka a sv. Alžběty a vývoj řádu od 13. století, v němž tito patronové žili až po založení řádu Apolonií Radermacher v 17. století, v této části je též uveden její životopis a sociální aspekty života. Tak může práce poskytnout i náhled na širší okolnosti, které souvisely s příchodem sester alžbětinek na území dnešní České republiky. Dále práce obsahuje historický přehled činnosti konventů sester alžbětinek v České republice od jejich založení až po dnešní dobu. Dalším cílem, k němuž práce směřovala, bylo poukázání na přínos řádu alžbětinek pro sociální práci v současné době, pro tento účel byla v práci popsána současná činnost konventů sester alžbětinek v České republice a stručná analýza vnitřních dokumentů jednoho z konventů.Bachelor thesis deals with the effect of the Order of St. Elizabeth in the dnešní Czech Republic related to connection with social work. It is processed by using historical-analytical report. The aim of thesis was to focus on finding connections between the mission of the Elizabethan Sisters and social work in historical context of effecting of the Elizabethan sisters in dnešní the Czech Republic. Thesis includes also biographies of the major saint patrons of the Order - St. Francis and St. Elizabeth and development order from the 13th century in which they lived to establishing Order by Apolonia Radermacher in the 17th century; there is also given biography of her life and social aspects in this section. Work can also offer insight into the broader circumstances which related to the arrival of the Elizabethan Sisters into the Czech Republic. The thesis includes a historical overview of the activities Elizabethan Sisters convents in the Czech Republic from its founding to these days. Thesis was focused also on another objective, which was pointing out the benefits of Elizabethan order for social work at present; there is included description of recent activity of Elizabethan Sisters convents in the Czech Republic and a brief analysis of the internal documents of one of the convents for this purpose.
