Diplomová práce se zabývá procesem vzniku státu. Teoretická část práce přináší pohled na vývoj státotvorných teorií a charakteristiku státu z pohledu jeho znaků a funkcí. Praktická část představuje případovou studií o vzniku konkrétního státu, v tomto případě Jižního Súdánu. Důraz je kladen na analýzu rolí jednotlivých aktérů, kteří měli zásadní vliv na formování tohoto afrického státu.This dissertation concerns with the formation of the state. Theoretical part presents a development of the state theories and describes a state in the view of its attributes and functions. Practical part deals with the particular case study of the formation of a concrete state, in this case South Sudan. This part puts emphasis on roles of individual participants, who had an essential influence on the formation of this African state.
