Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnutí vývoje druhého bydlení na Prostějovsku a pokusit se odhadnout perspektivu druhého bydlení na Prostějovsku v dalších letech. Práce obsahuje vývoj druhého bydlení v České republice, zařazuje druhé bydlení do cestovního ruchu a porovnává ho v mezinárodním kontextu. Objasňuje pozici druhého bydlení během jednotlivých sčítání a ukazuje oblasti největšího výskytu u nás. V poslední části obsahuje terénní výzkum druhého bydlení ve dvou oblastech na Prostějovsku.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to summarize the development of the second housing and to try to assess its perspective in the coming years. The work contains the development of the secondary living in the Czech Republic putting in into the context of tourist industry during particular censuses and showing the areas of highest occurrence in our country. The last part contains the terrain research of secondary living in two areas of Prostějov.
