Diplomová práce se zabývá úrovní znalostí v poskytování první pomoci policistů u vybraných územních odborů dopravních inspektorátů Moravskoslezského kraje. Teoretická část je zaměřena na objasnění funkce integrovaného záchranného systému, legislativu v první pomoci, popis útvaru Policie České republiky, statistiku dopravních nehod a na vybrané kapitoly z poskytování první pomoci vztahující se k moţným akutním stavům vzniklých při dopravních nehodách. Praktická část je zpracována formou kvantitavního výzkumu metodou dotazníku, který byl vytvořen na základě témat zmíněných v teoretické části diplomové práce. Získaná data byla zpracována do tabulek a grafů, s následným komentářem. Cílem práce bylo zjistit úroveň znalostí v poskytování první pomoci, zhodnotit je a navrhnout možná opatření ke zvýšení úrovně vzdělávání dopravní policie v první pomoci.This thesis deals with research on the levels of policemen's knowledge of providing first aid. Policemen of selected territorial departments in the Moravian-Silesian Region were involved in the research. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on clarifying the function of the Integrated Rescue System, first aid legislation, institutions concerned with first aid education, a description of the structure of the police departments of the Czech Republic, traffic accident statistics and other selected departments providing first aid that relate to possible acute medical situations caused by traffic accidents. The practical part deals with quantitative research. Data collection techniques involved a questionnaire. The questionnaire was created with subject?s information, mentioned in the theoretical part of this thesis. The acquired data was transferred to tables and graphs with related comments. This thesis seeks to discover the depth of first aid knowledge, evaluate it, then suggest some measures to improve the levels of first aid education involving traffic policemen
