Práce je zaměřena na problematiku péče o klienty s inkontinencí stolice. V teoretické části práce je popsána anatomie a fyziologie dolní části zažívacího traktu, téma funkčních poruch vyprazdňování a stěžejní problematika inkontinence stolice včetně ošetřovatelského procesu. V praktické části jsou zpracovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření prováděného v období únor - březen 2008 u všeobecných sester na klinikách Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc, nemocnice v Prostějově a v Přerově a zaměřeného na zjištění frekvence výskytu klientů s ošetřovatelskou diagnózou inkontinence stolice a jejich nejčastějších problémů, dále na zjištění škál používaných pomůcek a přípravků v péči o tyto klienty. Výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou shrnuty v diskusi a závěru práce.The bachelor's thesis is concerned with problems related to caring for clients with faecal incontinence. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the anatomy and physiology of the lower digestive tract, functional defaecation disorders and in particular faecal incontinence issues including the nursing process. The practical part presents the results of a questionnaire survey carried out in the departments of the University Hospital Olomouc and in hospitals in Prostějov and Přerov in February and March 2008. Its aims were to determine the frequency of clients with the nursing diagnosis of faecal incontinence and their most common problems, and to detect the spectrum of aids and preparations used in care for these clients. The survey results are summarized in the discussion and conclusion of the thesis.
