Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na proces přijímání vlastního zdravotního handicapu pohledem osob s postižením. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem postižení a handicap. Dále se zaměřuje se na problematiku zvládání, vlastní sebepojetí a přístup druhých lidí k osobám s handicapem. V práci je použit kvalitativní výzkum s metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Výzkumná data jsou analyzována pravidly zakotvené teorie. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak lidé se zdravotním postižením vnímají a prožívají svůj handicap, co jim k jeho přijetí pomáhá a co jim v tom naopak brání. Výzkum potvrzuje proces akceptace tělesného postižení dle Jankovského, důležitost rodiny, přátel i spirituality jedince.The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the process of accepting own physical disability from the point of view of people with physical disabilities. The teoretical part defines the concept disability and handicap. Later it is focused on problematics od coping, own self-concepts and acces other people to people with disability. In a thesis is uses qualitive research with the method of semi-structured interview. Research data are analyze to the rules of grounded theory. The aim of the thesis is "determine, how people with disability percieve and experience own handicap, what do them helps and on the other hand what do them defend." The research confirm a process of acceptance the physical disease by Jankovský, importance of family, friends and also personal's spirituality.
