Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat způsoby, kterými lze vybírat finanční investice. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na popis investičního prostředí, zkoumá motivy, které nás k investování vedou, a prezentuje obecné principy, na kterých investování funguje. V jednotlivých kapitolách je popsán finanční trh, dále jsou představena finanční aktiva, do nichž je možno investovat, a místa, na kterých lze finanční investice nakupovat, přičemž hlavní důraz je kladen na otevřené podílové fondy. Výstupem práce je analýza investičních příležitostí jednotlivých fiktivních investorů s doporučením pro vhodný postup výběru investice s ohledem na jejich různé preference a rizikový postoj. Tato práce by mohla sloužit jako manuál pro začínající investory a být přínosem v otázkách jak se v investičním prostředí orientovat, jak při výběru investice postupovat a na co se při výběru konkrétního podílového fondu zaměřit.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe the ways of financial investment selection. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on investment environment description, investigates motivation for making investments and illustrates general principles of investing. Individual chapters deal with topics of financial markets, typical financial assets and places where financial investments can be purchased while the main attention is paid to open-end mutual funds. The outcome of the thesis is the analysis of investment opportunities of individual fictional investors with recommendations for the suitable investment strategy considering their various preferences and risk attitude. This thesis could provide a manual for beginner investors and be of benefit in questions of how to navigate in investment environment, what the steps in financial investment selection are and what aspects should be taken into consideration when selecting an open-end mutual fund.
