Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou efektivity metod fyzioterapie, které jsou poskytovány pacientům v kritickém stavu na jednotkách intenzivní péče napojených na umělou plicní ventilaci. Práce je zaměřená především na metody respirační fyzioterapie, které jsou poskytovány spolupracujícím i nespolupracujícím pacientům. Dále jsou uvedeny cíle fyzioterapie kriticky nemocných, je diskutována úloha fyzioterapeuta jako člena multidisciplinárního týmu i jeho zásadní vliv na edukaci pacientů i jejich rodinných příslušníků. Závěrem je vyzdvižena nutnost vědeckého výzkumu ve smyslu medicíny (fyzioterapie) založené na důkazech.This Bachelor Thesis is concerned with the effectivity of physiotherapy methods used on critically ill patients with mechanical ventilator treated at Intensive Care Units. The main focus of the Thesis is on various methods of respiratory physiotherapy used on both cooperative and non-cooperative patients. The goals of physiotherapy of critically ill are listed. The role of physiotherapist as a part of multidisciplinary team is discussed including his crucial influence on education of patients and their relatives. Finally the need of scientific research according to principles of evidence based medicine (physiotherapy) is stressed.
