Ve své diplomové práci se zaměřím na možnosti reprezentace fenoménu divokých dětí ve filmu. Metodologicky budu vycházet z knihy Vicky Lebeau Childhood and Cinema (2008), kterou propojím s odbornou literaturou věnující se fenoménu divokých dětí. Výsledkem práce budou analýzy čtyř předem zvolených snímků. Dva z nich pracují explicitně s postavou divokého dítěte, protože vycházejí z reálných případů. (Divoké dítě, 1970 a Každý pro sebe a bůh proti všem, 1974). Další dva snímky (Krajina přílivu, 2005 a Divoká stvoření jižních krajin, 2012) pracují pak s postavami ryze fiktivními. Pro mou práci bude podnětné hledat jednotící prvky daných snímků, které korespondují s charakteristikou fenoménu divokých dětí a popsat tak, jak se liší od reprezentace klasického dětství v narativním filmu.In my thesis I focus on the possibilities of representation of wild children phenomenon in cinema. Methodologically it is based on Vicky Lebeau Childhood and Cinema (2008) book that I combine with a literature about wild children in general. The results of thesis is analysis of four carefully chosen films. Two of them work explicitly with the figure of a wild child, because they are based on real cases. (Wild Child, 1970, and Every man for himself and God against all, 1974). Other two films (Tideland, 2005 and Beasts of the southern wild, 2012), work with fictional characters. For my thesis is challenging to seek unifying elements of all the films that correspond with phenomenon wild children and describe how they differ from the classical representation of childhood in narrative film
