Tato práce pojednává o překladech Kursu obecné lingvistiky a pracích na něm založených. Teoretická část popisuje život a dílo autora knihy, Ferdinanda de Saussura, její editory a základní teoretické myšlenky knihy. Hlavní část se zabývá překlady a překladateli. Poslední část je věnována dopadu Kursu na Pražský lingvistický kroužek. Zaměřuje se na díla a myšlenky českých lingvistů, zejména na Romana Jokobsona.The work concerns the translations of Course in general linguistics and the works based on it. The theoretical part describes the life and work of Ferdinand de Saussure, the author of Course, as well as the principal ideas of the book and information about the editors. The main part gives the data on the translations and the translators. The last part covers an impact of Course on the linguists of Linguistic Circle of Prague. It focuses on the works and concepts of Czech linguists, notably of Roman Jakobson, based on the Course.
