Záměrem bakalářské práce je zjistit úspěšnost jednotlivých evropských států ve vybraných fotbalových soutěžích na klubové i reprezentační úrovni. Práce dále analyzuje vývoj této úspěšnosti v čase a porovnává, jak si státy vedly na obou zkoumaných úrovních. Dílčím cílem práce je vymezit území Evropy z geografického a fotbalového hlediska, vybrat státy, na které se analýza bude vztahovat, a zařadit geografii sportu do vědních geografických disciplín.The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the success rate of individual European states in selected football competitions in club and representative class. The thesis analyzes the development of this success rate in time and compares how states were succesfull in both of the analyzed class. The partial aim of the thesis is to demarcate the territory of Europe from the geographic and football poit of view, select the states to which the analysis will apply, and integrate the geography of sport to geographic scientific disciplines.
