Cílem práce bylo analyzovat etiologii synkop na kardilogicky profilizovaném pracovišti, získaná data statisticky zpracovat tak, aby bylo možné srovnání s obecnými údaji v literatuře. Snahou autora bylo objasnit a více přiblížit příčiny synkopálních stavů, zamyslet se nad objasněností poruch vědomí, vyšetřovacími metodami a léčbou synkop. Zvlášť byla potom vyčleněna synkopa reflexně zprostředkovaná a zejména vazovagální, kde se autor snaží o srovnání efektu léčby betablokátory v dlouhodobé profylaktické terapii v závislosti na výskytu recidiv, pohlaví a věku pacientů a tato data srovnává s dostupnými literárními údaji.The aim of the paper was to conduct an analysis of syncope etiology at a profiled cardiology center and to conduct a statistical process of the acquired data to allow a comparison with general information provided in literature. The goal of the author was to clarify and provide closer details on the causes of syncoptic episodes, to consider the degree of clarification in the causes of conscience disorders, the examination methods, and treatment of syncopes. Special attention is drawn to the reflex syncope and especially to the vasovagal syncope where the author is attempting to compare the effect of beta-blocker treatment in long-term prophylactic therapy in respect to occurrence of relapse, gender and age of the patients; this data is then compared to information available in literature.
