Diplomová práca rozoberá teoreticko-metodologické východiská regionalizácie a porovnáva priestorové súvislosti spádovosti jednotlivých typov služieb v zázemí mesta Olomouc. Práca pozostáva z piatich kapitol. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá vývojom konceptu regiónu, klasifikáciou regiónov a základnými princípmi sociogeografickej regionalizácie. Druhá kapitola zachytáva podstatné atribúty služieb ako ekonomickej kategórie a ich úlohu v priestorovej organizácii spoločnosti. Venuje sa zároveň problematike voľby vhodnej metodiky výberu obslužných stredísk. V tretej kapitole je rozoberané postavenie olomouckého regiónu v doterajších sociogeografických regionalizáciách a na ich základe je vymedzené nami skúmané územie. Jadrom práce sú posledné dve kapitoly koncipované na základe výsledkov emiprického výskumu realizovaného vo všetkých obciach predmetného územia. Predkladajú obraz obslužnej regionálnej štruktúry územia. Na dvoch hierarchických úrovniach vymedzujú parciálne obslužné regióny v oblasti zdravotníctva, školstva, maloobchodu a služieb i kultúry a športu, porovnávajú ich územný rozsah a charakteristické prejavy a následne ich zlúčením vytvárajú komplexné obslužné regióny. Posledná kapitola sa zároveň zameriava na sociogeografickú charakteristiku vyčlenených komplexných regiónov a začleňuje ich do systému predošlých regionalizácií.The diploma thesis analyses the theoretically-methodological approaches of regionalisation and compares the spatial relations of service commuting for particular types of services in Olomouc region. The diploma is divided into five chapters. The first one considers the evolution of the concept of region, clasification of regions and the basic priciples of sociogeographical regionalisation. The second chapter puts down the basic attributes of services as an economic category and their function in spatial organisation of society. It also deals with the question of how to select a proper way to establish the service centers. In the third chapter we analyse the position of Olomouc region using the previous sociogeographical regionalisations and on their basis we define the researched territory. The last two chapters represents the body of the diploma based on results of field research realized in all the municipalities among the region. They present the reflection of service-based regional structure in this area. They delimit the partial service regions in the field of health services, school services, business and general services and free time activities on two hierarchic levels, they compare their spatial range and typical attributes and than through the unification of partial regions they create the complex service regions. The last chapter also considers the sociogeographical characteristic of delimitated komplex regions and integrates them into the system of previous regionalisations.
