Cílem práce je zjistit, jak velkou popularitu má káva v zemi považovanou spíše za kulturu čajovou. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na historii kávy na Taiwanu a vlivu zahraničních zemích, dále rozebírám produkci kávy na ostrově, import a export. V dalších částech řeším prodej kávy a konzumaci, kde rozebírám aktuální trendy a cílovou skupinu. Dále se rozepisuji o kávové kultuře na Taiwanu, blíže pak o festivalech, soutěžích, a to jaký to má vliv na popularitu, nebo zdali už aktuální popularita je spouštěčem těchto akcí. V praktické části se zaměřuji na kavárny, které jsem na Taiwanu navštěvovala a sleduji určitá kritéria, v čem jsou si podniky podobné a v čem naopak ne, převážně se zaměřuji na kávu samotnou, její dovoz a zpracování v těchto kavárnách.. -- Abstract: In this work I deal with the coffee popularity in Taiwan. The aim of the thesis is to find out how popular the coffee is in the country, which is considered to be more of a tea culture. In the theoretical part I focus on the history of coffee in Taiwan and the influence of foreign countries, I also analyze the production of coffee on the island, import and export. In the following sections, I deal with coffee sales and consumption, where I analyze current trends and the target group. Next, I talk about coffee culture in Taiwan, then about festivals, championships, and how it affects popularity, or whether the current popularity is the trigger for these events. In the practical part, I focus on the cafes I visited in Taiwan and I follow certain criteria, in which the cafes are similar and in what, on the contrary, are differences. I mainly focus on the coffee itself, its import and processing in these cafes.
