Nejprve je v textu vysvětlen samotný P-A koncept a poté také oblast evropských agentur. To za účelem pochopení dané problematiky. Následuje popis samotného Europolu a jeho fungování. Nakonec se práce zaměřuje na aplikaci P-A konceptu právě na agenturu Europol.. -- Abstract: The diploma thesis deals with the application of the principal-agent concept to the European Police Office. The P-A concept itself is explained at first, followed by description of the area of European agencies. This description serves for better understanding the issue. Analysis of the Europol itself and its functions follows. Finally, the thesis focuses on the application of the P-A concept to the Europol agency.
