V teoretické části budou definovány základní pojmy o stáří, stárnutí, volném čase a institucích sociální péče. Dále se zde budeme zabývat kvalitou života seniorů a jejich potřebami, seznámíme se s funkcemi volného času, pravidly a možnostmi aktivizace seniorů. Ve výzkumné části práce se formou průzkumu seznámíme s nabídkami volnočasových aktivit ve vybraných domovech pro seniory v Olomouckém kraji. Porovnáme nabízené aktivity, vliv prostředí na aktivity seniorů z hlediska spádovosti, motivaci seniorů k účasti na aktivitách ze strany zaměstnanců, preferované aktivity aj. Objasníme důvody podpory aktivity seniorů k zachování autonomie a smysluplného života.. -- Abstract: The diploma thesis will focus on leisure activities of seniors in selected senior homes in the Olomouc region. The theoretical part will define the basic concepts of old age, aging, leisure and social care institutions. Furthermore, we will deal with the quality of life of seniors and their needs, we will become familiar with leisure time functions, rules and possibilities of activation of seniors. In the research part of the thesis we will explore the offers of leisure activities in selected homes for the elderly in the Olomouc region. We will compare the activities offered, the impact of the environment on the activities of seniors in terms of catching-up, motivation of seniors to participate in activities by employees, preferred activities, etc. We will explain the reasons for supporting the activities of seniors to maintain autonomy and meaningful life.
