Předmětem práce je aplikace konceptu ekocidy na Tibetskou autonomní oblast. Ekocida je jedním z aktuálně zkoumaných problémů životního prostředí a má mezinárodní rozměr. Tato práce obsahuje několik definic ekocidy od různých autorů a popsání jednotlivých faktorů degradace tibetského životního prostředí. Poté se snaží na základě informací identifikovaných při rešerši zdrojů posoudit, lze-li považovat rozsah poškození životního prostředí v Tibetu za ekocidu.. -- Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the environment and its degradation in the Tibetan Autonomous Region. The subject of the thesis is the application of the ecocide concept to the Tibetan Autonomous Region. Ecocide is one of the currently examined environmental issues and has an international dimension. This work contains several definitions of ecocide from different authors and describes the factors of degradation of Tibetan environment. The work then tries to assess, based on the information identified in the literature search, if the extent of environmental damage in Tibet can be considered an ecocide.
