V teoretické části je popsána samotná metoda geodesign, její historie, principy a postupy práce. Dále její využití a aplikace ve městech po celém světe. V praktické části jsou vybrány tři oblasti z České republiky Olomouc, Ostrava a Vysočina a v těchto oblastech jsou vytipovány konkrétní typy úloh, na kterých je použití metody demonstrováno. Práce je vytvořena za pomoci konzultantů z krajských úřadů a magistrátu, kteří poskytli svá data pro účely této diplomové práce. Výsledkem práce jsou zpracované tři případové studie, které jsou založené na reálných problémech: - Stavba nové multifunkční arény v Olomouci - Průmyslová zóna Nad Barborou - Dálniční odpočívadla na Vysočině. Pro samotné řešení a zpracování dat byl využit program Urban Planner. Výstupy práce byly konzultovány s úřady a magistráty a na základě těchto konzultací byly vytvořeny mapy a vizualizace. V každé případové studii je popsán postup práce, který může být aplikovaný i na další problémové případy v České republice.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis demonstrates the possibilities of application of the geodesign method in Czech urban planning. The theoretical part presents, firstly, the geodesign method itself, secondly its history, principles and procedures of work. Lastly it shows its use and application in cities around the world. In practical part are selected three areas from the Czech Republic Olomouc, Ostrava and Vysočina. In these areas there are selected specific types of tasks, where the method is used. The work is done with the help of consultants of the regional authorities and the magistrate. They also provide their data for the purpose of this diploma thesis. The results of the work are three case studies that are based on real problems: - Construction of the new multifunctional arena in Olomouc - Industrial zone Nad Barborou - Highway rest areas in the Vysočina. Data was processed in Urban Planner. The outputs of the work were consulted with the authorities and municipality. Based on these consultations maps and visualizations were created. In each case study, there is a whole procedure described. It could be applied to other problem cases in the Czech Republic.
