Accordingly, the thesis concerns the position of arbitrator within the structures of international commercial arbitration. The thesis takes the person of arbitrator under the looking glass and it analyzes it from various perspectives. The thesis compiles various sources of information. Special emphasis is, however, added to the comparison of relevant case law as well as approaches within the rules of major arbitral institutions.
