Diplomová práce sleduje problematiku porozumění psychického prožívání horolezecké činnosti zejména motivace výkonu. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na motivy, motivaci výkonu a horolezce jako osobnosti ve sportu. Na část teoretickou navazuje část výzkumná, kterou tvoří dvě části. První výzkum realizovaný u 38 horolezců pomocí dotazníku LMI a SUPOS 7 zjistil motivaci výkonu a jejich psychický stav. Výzkum druhý realizovaný u 30 horolezců pomocí dotazníků profilu postoje ke smrti, škály vyrovnanosti se smrtí a SUPOS 7 zjistil postoje ke smrti a jejich psychický stav.The recent work concerns on understanding the psychical experience of climbers activity i.e. achievement motivation. Theoretical part focuses on motives, achievement motivation and climbers as sportsman. A research follows the theoretical part. The teoretical part consist of two parts. The first survey realized among 38 climbers using the LMI and SUPOS 7 questionnaries found out the achievement motivaton and their mental state. The second survey realized among 30 climbers using the death attitude profile, coping with death scale and SUPOS 7 questionnaries found out the attitudes to death and thein mental state.
