Spondylolisthesis is a diagnosis which is used to describe a pathological status of the spine, where there is a ventral shift of the vertebral body due to a neighboring lying distal vertebral body and is connected with chronic back pain, often with the projection to the lower extremities. This thesis summarizes the findings of the spinal anatomy and kinesiology, and basic information about spondylolisthesis. The special part of the thesis contains a summary of current knowledge of rehabilitation after a surgery as well as a rehabilitation within a conservative treatment, which has been preferred lately. The thesis also includes a casuistry of the patient with spondylolisthesis diagnose who was cured in a conservative way.
