Z chronologického hlediska rozbor zahrnuje příčiny zhoršení vzájemných vztahů v sedmdesátých letech, průběh hraničního konfliktu v únoru a březnu 1979, období pokračujícího konfliktu a napětí v osmdesátých letech a formální normalizaci vztahů začátkem devadesátých let.. -- Abstract: The main aim of this study is to assess and analyze the Sino-Vietnamese normalization process in the years 1979 ? 1991. From the chronological point of view, this work includes the reasons for deterioration of the bilateral relations in the 1970s, the course of the Sino-Vietnamese border conflict in 1979, the period of ongoing conflict and tension in the 1980s and the formal normalization of relations in the 1990s.
