V úvodu je popsána stručná historie právního vývoje a právní úpravy směnky, jak ve světě, tak na našem území. V další kapitole se práce zaobírá směnečnými náležitostmi a analyzuje směnky jako takové. Podrobněji se dále práce zabývá směnečným protestem a jeho rozborem a také komparací protestu směnečného a šekového.. -- Abstract: The master thesis is focused on the analysis of the institute of protest in the exchange law. At the beginning a brief historical progress and the legal regulations of the bill is described, abroad and in our country as well. The analysis of the bills and essentials of the bills is placed in the next chapter. In more details, the thesis is concerned with the institute of protest and draws comparisions between institute of protest in the exchange law and protest in the law of chegue.
