Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit poslání organizace Teen Challenge, seznámit s metodami práce a poukázat na komplexní přístup k uživatelům služby. Práce je členěna do šesti základních oddílů. První, čtvrtý a pátý oddíl se věnují organizaci samotné - jejímu vzniku, poslání, cíli, struktuře, způsobu práce a pracovnímu týmu. Druhá a třetí kapitola se zabývají cílovou skupinou organizace a čtyřmi aspekty jejího vývoje - psychického, fyzického, sociokulturního a sociálně patologického. Šestá část je věnována bývalým uživatelům služby Teen Challenge, kteří mohli ve svých životech zažít osvobození od závislosti, a kteří byli ochotni se o svůj životní příběh podělit.The purpose of my work is to offer a short look in the work of organization Teen Challenge, to show its methods and explain the attitude towards the people who need a help providing by this organization. My work is divided into six main parts. The first, the fourth and the fifth parts are devoted to description of organization, the establishment, the structure, you can read about the main philosophy of the organization and also about the style of team work and about the way, how the work of Teen Challenge can help to change broken lives. The second and the third chapters are about people who are clients of Teen Challenge and about the conditions for clients and their developments in all aspects of their personalities. In the sixth part you can read short lifestories of some former clients of Teen Challenge. They were set free from various addictions, started their own families, are able to live full-value lives and were wiling to share their story.
