Diplomová práce se zabývá multikulturním soužitím a informuje o tom, jak konkrétní instituce a organizace napomáhají soužití odlišných kultur na Brněnsku. Dále práce předkládá informace o pojetí multikulturalismu v české společnosti, etnických menšinách a cizincích. Záměrem práce je také přiblížit české majoritě muslimské země Irák a Pákistán s přihlédnutím k muslimské komunitě v Brně.This thesis focuses on multiculturalism and provides facts about specific institutions and organizations that help to make the coexistence of different cultures in the region of Brno peaceful. Furthermore, the paper contains information about the concept of multiculturalism in the Czech society, ethnic minorities and foreigners. One of the aims of the paper is also to make the Czech majority more familiar with the Muslim countries of Iraq and Pakistan with special regard to the Muslim community in the region of Brno.
