Práce je zaměřena na zjištění, jak se sestry vypořádávají s agresivním a násilným chováním pacientů a jejich příbuzných a jaká profesionální péče je zdravotníkům zajištěna, v případě napadení při výkonu svého povolání. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení pojmů související s agresí. Popisuje problematiku agresivního chování ve zdravotnictví. Pozornost je věnovaná komunikačním dovednostem a jejich zásadám při zvládání agrese. V praktické části jsou předkládány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, u zdravotních pracovníků pracujících na Centrálním příjmu v Šumperské nemocnici.The work aims to find out how nurses cope with aggressive and violent behaviour of patiens and their relatives, and what kind of professional care the medical staff is provided in case of an attack at workplace. The theoretical part defines the terms related to aggression. It describes the aspects of aggressive behaviour in health institutions. It also focuses on communication skills and principles of their usage when treating aggresssion. The practical part presents the results of a survey carried out among the medical staff at the Central Reception of the Šumperk hospital.
