(191 160 znaků celkem). -- Ved. práce Martin Nitsche. -- Abstract: Diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím úzkosti a smrti v díle Edgara Allana Poea a Martina Heideggera. Jejím cílem je představení koncepcí úzkosti a smrti u Heideggera, objasnění významu fenoménů úzkosti a smrti v Poeově tvorbě a konečně srovnání obou pojetí a pokus o aplikaci Heideggerových myšlenek na Poeovo dílo. Úzkost a smrt jsou spolu úzce spjaty a tvoří důležitou součást Heideggerovy filosofie a Poeovy tvorby. Tyto motivy a struktura, kterou spolu s dalšími fenomény vytvářejí, jsou v obou pojetích určitým způsobem analogické. Poeovo dílo odhaluje problematiku lidského bytí podobným způsobem jako Heideggerova filosofie, pouze jinou, literární formou.. -- Abstract: The diploma paper is concerned with the concept of anxiety and death in the work of Edgar Allan Poe and Martin Heidegger. It´s aim is to introduce concepts of anxiety and death in the work of Heidegger, to clarify the meaning of these two phenomena in the work of Poe, to compare the concepts and to attempt application of Heidegger´s thoughts to Poe´s work. Anxiety and death are closely connected and form a significant component of Heidegger´s philosophy and Poe´s work. These motives and structure they create with other phenomena are in a way analogical with both authors. Poe unfolds esse (human being) issue in a similar way like Heidegger with the difference of used form.
