(94 500 znaků). -- Ved. práce Markéta Žídková. -- Abstract: Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou reformy Rady bezpečnosti OSN. Časově je možné práci zařadit do období mezi léty 1945 a 2005, důraz je kladen na události po roce 1992. Text je rozdělen do tří hlavních částí. První část je teoretická a věnuje se vzniku, složení a pravomocem Rady bezpečnosti a následně teorii legitimity. Ve druhé části jsou rozebrány faktory, jež vedly ke zpochybňování legitimity činnosti tohoto orgánu a vytvářely tlak na změnu jeho složení. Poslední část předkládá analýzu vývoje reformních snah po roce 1992, představuje hlavní aktéry v otázce reformy Rady bezpečnosti a jejich pozice a usiluje o identifikaci hlavních problémových oblastí, jež uskutečnění reformy brání.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the Security Council reform. It is set in the period from 1945 to 2005, the emphasis is put on the development after year 1992. Thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is theoretical and it concerns with emergence, composition and powers of the Security Council, the theory of legitimacy follows. In the second part, the factors that have led to undermining the legitimacy of actions of this body, and therefore have created a pressure for reform, are examined. The last part puts forth analysis of the process of the reform efforts after year 1992, presents the main actors in the debates of the Security Council reform together with their standpoints and aims to identify the main disputed areas, that hinder the implementation of the reform.
