Východiskem práce byl problém hospitalizace dítěte mladšího školního věku v nemocnici a možnosti aplikace technik terapie hrou v rámci herní práce v nemocnici. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat možnosti a přínosy technik terapie hrou v nemocnici, zda tyto techniky mají pozitivní vliv na pobyt dítěte v nemocnici a porovnat herní práci v nemocnici a terapii hrou u dětí mladšího školního věku. V teoretické části této práce se čtenář seznámí s pojmy, jako je hra, hračka, herní práce v nemocnici, herní specialista, terapie hrou, a s problematikou hospitalizace dítěte v nemocnici. Praktická část zahrnuje kvalitativní výzkum na dětském chirurgickém a neurologickém oddělení Thomayerovy nemocnice v Praze. Výsledky výzkumu jsou zpracovány formou kazuistik. Výsledky výzkumu poukázaly na potřebu specifikování a rozšíření herního specialisty a hrového terapeuta na dětských odděleních v našich nemocnicích a nutnost propojení herního specialisty, hrového terapeuta a ostatního zdravotního personálu. Výsledky také potvrdily pozitivní přínos terapie hrou během hospitalizace dítěte v nemocnici.The starting point of this thesis was the problem of hospitalisation of young-school age child in a hospital and possibilities of application of play therapy technics within the frame of hospital play work. The main aim of diploma is to chart possibilities and benefits of the play therapy technics in hospital and if these technics do have positive influence on child`s stay in a hospital. Another aim is the comparison of play work in hospital and play therapy of young-school age children. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces us the notions like play, toy, play work, play specialist, play therapy and problem of children`s hospitalisation. Practical part of the thesis includes qualitative research at surgical and neurological ward in Thomayer hospital in Prague. Findings of the research are worked up to case studeis. These findings of the research showed the need for specification and expansion the role of play specialist and play therapist at child`s ward in our hospitals and need of connection among the play specialist, the play therapist and other hospital staff. The findings also confirmed positive benefits of play therapy in hospitals.
