Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku možnosti využití canisterapie zejména jako pomocné psychoterapeutické metody při řešení situací, kdy mohou jiné metody v rámci edukačního procesu na základní škole praktické selhávat. Teoretická část práce je zpracována do čtyř částí. První část obsahuje základní informace o mentálním postižení, které je diagnostikováno takřka u všech dětí na škole tohoto typu. Druhá část se zabývá edukačním procesem mentálně postižených. Ve třetí části jsou popsány terapeuticko- formativní přístupy v péči o jedince s mentálním postižením a ve čtvrté části teoretického oddílu práce je podrobně zpracovaná metoda canisterapie. V praktické části práce se zaměřuji na konkrétní využití canisterapie v rámci edukačního procesu ve 4. ročníku Základní školy praktické Lanškroun (od 1. 1. 2008 Základní škola Lanškroun) a na její výsledky.Bachelor thesis is focused on the possibility of utilization of canistherapy as a helping psychotherapeutical method in solving of situations, where can other methods, in terms of education process in primary school for children with special needs, fail. Theoretical section of the thesis is divided into four parts. First part contains basic information about mental disablement, which is diagnosed to almost all children visiting above mentioned type of schools. Second part is dealing with education process of mentally disabled children. In the third part there are described threapeutical-formative approches in care of individuals with mental disablement and finally in the fourth part of theoretical section is described the canistherapy method itself in detail. In the practical section of my thesis I focuse on factual utilization of canistherapy in terms of education process in fourth year of Lanškroun primary school for children with special needs (from 1st January 2008 - Lanškroun Primary School) and on its results.
