Předmětem této případové studie je analýza vzniku separatistické republiky Abcházie. Více specificky se text zaměřuje na vnitřní politiku a její vliv na rozmrznutí konfliktu, které se projevilo v rusko-gruzínské válce v srpnu 2008. Cílem práce je navrhnout možný scénář budoucího vývoje v oblasti.This article presents the analyses of the emergence of the separatist Republic of Abkhazia. More specifically, the aim of the text is to focus on the internal policy and its influence on the new breakout of the conflict during Russian-Georgian war in August 2008. The aim of the paper is to suggest the possible scenario of the future development in the area.
