Analýza v díle "Metropolis`` je provedena na základe schématu iniciace hlavní postavy (Freder),její fantastických zážitku a také na základe konfliktu mezi otcem a synem, který predstavuje symbol boje mezi mocí a láskou. Krátké povídky z díla "Masken des Todes`` byli zkoumány na základe zpusobu opisu krizových okamihu. Výsledkem zkoumání je používání motivu techniky za úcelem kritiky, co se pojí na základní myšlenky hnuti nazývaného "Kulturkritik``. Autorka používá krestanskou symboliku na morální poucení.. -- Abstract: The aim of the master thesis is the analysis of the phantasy elements in the works "Metropolis``and "Masken des Todes`` by Thea von Harbou. The analysis bases on the initiation scheme of the main character (Freder), his phantastic experiences and the father-son conflict, which is the symbol for the fight between the power and love. The result of the analysis is the use of the motive of technology for criticism, what corresponds with the main idea of the movement "Kulturkritik``. The autor uses the Christian symbolism for moral lesson.
