V teoretické části se zabývá definicí osob se sluchovým postižením, klasifikací, etiologií a mýty a předsudky o lidech se sluchovým postižením. Dále připomíná také historií sportu sluchově postižených jak v České republice, tak i ve světě. Věnuje se organizaci Český svaz neslyšících sportovců a popisuje Deaflympiády. V poslední řadě uvádí největší úspěchy českých neslyšících sportovců. Předmětem druhé části práce je zjištění rozdílů mezi žáky a žákyněmi základních škol se sluchovým postižením v jejich vztahu ke sportu a frekvenci sportování.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of children with hearing impairment and their relationship to sport. The theoretical part deals with the definition of people with hearing impairment, classification, etiology and myths and prejudices about people with hearing impairment. It also includes the history of sport for the hearing impaired in the Czech Republic and worldwide. It also discusses the organization of the Czech Association of Deaf Athletes and describes the Deaflympics. Lastly, it presents the greatest achievements of Czech deaf athletes. The subject of the second part of the thesis is to find out the differences between primary school pupils with hearing impairment in their attitude to sport and the frequency of playing sport.
