Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na popis a porozumění specifickým aspektům vztahu mezi sourozenci, kdy jeden ze sourozenců má mentální postižení. V teoretické části je popsána základní charakteristika mentálního postižení, sourozeneckých vztahů a role rodičů a rodiny v těchto vztazích. V praktické části byly analyzovány rozhovory se třemi intaktními sourozenci a interpretovány formou deskriptivní případové studie. Výzkum zkoumá jedinečnost vztahu, jeho vývoj, prožívané emoce, vliv rodiny a podpory rodičů, dále potřeby sourozenců a pozitivní přínos sourozeneckého vztahu.The thesis focuses on describing and understanding the specific aspects of the relationship between siblings when one of the siblings has intellectual disability. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of intellectual disability, sibling relationships and the role of parents and family in these relationships. In the practical part, interviews with three intact siblings were analyzed and then interpreted in the form of a descriptive case study. The research explores the uniqueness of the relationship, its development, experienced emotions, the influence of family and parental support, as well as the needs of the siblings and the positive benefits of the sibling relationship.
