This diploma thesis deals with robotic-assisted rehabilitation of spastic hand paresis in patients after stroke. Due to the high incidence of spasticity in patients with diseases of the nervous system, the topic of its treatment and rehabilitation is still very topical. Robotic rehabilitation is a current trend in neurorehabilitation that shows promising results. Robotic systems have been at the forefront of researchers' and therapists' interests in rehabilitation in the current decades, undergoing rapid development and testing, and are thus likely to start appearing more regularly in clinical settings within the next few years. The aim of this thesis was to test the effectiveness of one month of robotic assisted hand rehabilitation using the Gloreha Professional II system on finger flexor spasticity, hand function and self-sufficiency in patients with spastic paresis.
