Diplomová práce popisuje situaci v Evropě z hlediska zdravotní péče a služeb. Téma je zpracováváno v několika geografických úrovních a snaží se vytvořit rozsáhlý přehled o zdravotnictví v daných oblastech. Práce zobrazuje situaci nejdříve v podrobnosti na evropské státy (NUTS0), postupně přechází do podrobnějšího zobrazení regionů (NUTS2, TL2), a nakonec se zaměřuje na vybraný stát, Česko, a jeho rozdělení. V rámci procesu dochází zpočátku k vizuální analýze území za pomoci několika vybraných ukazatelů, kde je zobrazeno také vnímaní vlastního zdravotního stavu a životní spokojenosti obyvatel evropských států, které doprovází statistická vyhodnocení zkoumaných dat. Další fáze zpracování tématu postihuje vztahy a souvislosti uvnitř používaných datových sad a indikátorů, společně s analýzou samotného prostorového vzoru, k čemuž byly použity metody exploratorní analýzy. Finální a stěžejní fází práce je komplexní syntéza dat, ve které došlo ke kombinaci zdravotnických ukazatelů se socio-ekonomickými sadami pro zasazení výstupů do celkového kontextu k tématu. Dosažené výsledky a zjištění byly interpretovány jak z pohledu geoinformatického a geografického, tak i s ohledem na téma tzv. healthcare/geohealth.The diploma thesis describes the situation in Europe in terms of health care and services. It is processed at several geographical levels and tries to create a comprehensive picture of health care in the researched areas. Firstly, it shows the situation in European countries (NUTS0), then moves to a more detailed view of regions (NUTS2), and finally focuses on the selected country, the Czech Republic, and its districts. In the beginning, a visual analysis of the area with the assistance of several selected indicators is performed. Also, it shows the perception of the own health status of the population in European countries accompanying the statistical evaluations of the examined data. The next phase of the process displays the relationships and connections within the used data sets and indicators, together with the analysis of the spatial pattern itself, with the help of correlation or cluster analysis. The final and key phase of the work is a comprehensive synthesis of analysed data. There is a combination of health data and socio-economic indicators to put results in the overall context. Achieved results and findings were both interpreted from a geoinformatics and geographical point of view, as well as with regard to the topic called healthcare/geohealth.
