V magisterské diplomové práci se budu zabývat přístupy k překladu onomatopoií a mimetik v korejském překladu literárního díla Harry Potter a Kámen mudrců. Cílem výzkumu je porovnat texty a odhalit strategie, které jsou užity při překládání, respektive novém vkládání, onomatopoických a mimetických výrazů v korejské verzi překladu ve srovnání s anglickým originálem a českým překladem. V teoretické části práce budou definovány pojmy onomatopoie a mimetika a jejich klasifikace jakožto slovního druhu. Rovněž bude přiblížen výskyt onomatopoických a mimetických výrazů v anglickém, českém a korejském jazyce. Také budou představeny rysy, podle kterých se onomatopoie a mimetika vymezují. V kapitole věnované translatologii onomatopoií a mimetik budou představeny problémy a možné postupy při překladu onomatopoií a mimetik. V praktické části budou porovnány excerpované korejské onomatopoické a mimetické výrazy s jejich původním zněním v anglickém originálu Harryho Pottera a Kamene mudrců a také s jeho českým překladem.The aim of this thesis is to compare texts of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book and reveal the strategies used for translation of onomatopoeia and mimesis in the Korean translation during its comparison with the English original text and the text of its Czech translation. The theoretical part of the thesis will define the terms onomatopoeia and mimesis and their classification as part of speech. The occurrence of onomatopoeia and mimesis in English, Czech and Korean language will also be presented as well as the features according to which onomatopoeia and mimesis are usually defined. The chapter devoted to the translation of onomatopoeia and mimesis will present problems and strategies of translation of onomatopoeia and mimesis. In the practical part, excerpted Korean onomatopoeia and mimesis will be compared with their original phrasing in the English text of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book and with its Czech translation.
