Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl představit von Neumannovu sondu jako koncept sémiotického systému, který je schopen za přesně stanovených podmínek provádět sebereplikaci. Tato práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V té první je představen historický kontext přelomu 19. a 20. století, který je důležitý pro pochopení některých trendů, které v tehdejší době byly v oblasti vědeckého života. Je zde zakomponovaná i část věnující se teorému Kurta Gödela o neúplnosti formálního systému jako je Principia Mathematica. Druhá část je věnována práci Alana Turinga a zejména Turingovu univerzálnímu stroji. Definice těchto dvou konceptů je důležitá pro pochopení problematiky autoreference a jejího rozdílného řešení. Ve třetí části je představena von Neumannova sonda a zejména problematika sebereplikace. V poslední části jsou tyto jednotlivé koncepty postaveny vedle sebe ve snaze zodpovědět otázku, zda je možné brát von Neumannovu sondu jako spodní hranici sémiotického systému.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce von Neumann Probe as a concept of semiotics system. If the right conditions are met, this system is capable of self-reproducing itself. The thesis is divided into four parts. Through the first part the historical context is given, mainly to understand some of the trends of science in late 19th and early 20th century. This part is also dedicated to Kurt Gödel's Incompleteness theorem which is focused on formal systems similar to the one introduced in Principia Mathematica. In the second part, the work of Alan Turing is analysed and is mostly focused on Turing's Universal Machine. The definitions of these two concepts are important for understanding of the problems of self-reference and its different solutions. The von Neumann probe itself and the problems of self-reproducing are introduced in the third part of the thesis. In the last part the three different theories are compared in a effort to answer the main problem. If von Neumann Probe can be taken as a bottom line of semiotics system.
