V první části je popsána historie názorů na světlo a fyzikální podstata světla. V další části je popsán vznik, vlastnosti, druhy a způsoby polarizace. Poslední část popisuje možnost využití polarizace v praxi optometristy a v oční optice.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of polarization of light and its use in optometry. The first part describes the history of light and physical nature of light. The second part describes formation, attribute and types of polarized light and method of polarization. The last part describes the possibility of using polarization in optometry and optics.
