(103 783 znaků). -- Ved. práce Zlatica Dorková. -- Oponent Tatiana Matulayová. -- Abstract: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fungováním multidisciplinárního týmu v Hospice of Western Kentucky v USA. Jejím cílem je pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu popsat fungování týmu v tomto hospici a v jeho zařízení Heartford House. Také si klade za cíl zjistit jaké jsou bariéry a možnosti zlepšení spolupráce uvnitř obdobného týmu v České republice. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením některých pojmů relevantních k tématu, seznámením s hospicovou péčí v USA a organizací Hospice of Western Kentucky, dále také významem multidisciplinárního týmu v hospicové a paliativní péči, a nakonec aspekty a kritérii, které jsou důležité pro fungující tým v hospici. Empirická část se zabývá metodologií práce a popisem výsledků výzkumu získaných na základě rozhovorů s pracovníky Hospice of Western Kentucky a sociálními pracovnicemi dvou českých mobilních hospiců.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the way the multidisciplinary team of the Hospice of Western Kentucky in the U.S. works. Its aim is to describe the functioning of the multidisciplinary team in this hospice and its free-standing facility Heartford House by using the qualitative research. Moreover, this thesis endeavors to discover the obstacles and possibilities of improving the cooperation within the multidisciplinary team in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the terms related to this topic. It also provides an introduction to the hospice care in the U. S., and to the Hospice of Western Kentucky. Furthermore, it explains the significance of the multidisciplinary team in hospice and palliative care. Finally, it includes the aspects and criteria that are important for the right functioning of the team in hospice. The empirical part centers on the thesis' methodology and the evaluation of the results from the interviews with the workers from the Hospice of Western Kentucky, and social workers from two Czech mobile hospices.
