Diplomová práce je věnována problematice Downova syndromu a logopedické intervenci u těchto osob. Teoretická část se převážně věnuje symptomatologii a vybraným intervenčním technikám. Empirická část má kvantitativní design. Výzkumnou metodou je dotazník, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, zda souvisí frekventovanost užití techniky s její náročností a s praktickým přínosem pro osoby s Downovým syndromem.The thesis is devoted to Down syndrome issue and speech and language therapy for people with such diagnosis. In the theoretical part the main focus is on symptomatology and selected intervention techniques. The empirical part has quantitative design of the research. Questionnaire survey is the main research method, which aim was to find out any possible correlations between technique´s frequency of use, its difficulty and practical benefit for people with Down syndrome.
