Práce se zabývá morfologickým popisem celkem 13 vzorků sinic odebraných z různých habitatů poloostrova Florida, konkrétně z oblastí Národního parku Everglades a jezera Okeechobee. Vzorky byly na základě fenotypových a ekologických znaků zařazeny do konkrétních rodů a druhů. Determinovány byly rody Geitlerinema, Schizothrix, Oculatella a Leptolyngbya. Součástí práce je i didaktická příloha, zahrnující teoretickou a praktickou část. Praktická část obsahuje pracovní list na téma: Sinice ve výuce základních škol, sestavený pro šestou třídu základní školy.Work deals with the morphological description of 13 samples of cyanobacteria taken from different habitats of the Florida peninsula, specifically from the Everglades National Park and Lake Okeechobee. On the basis of phenotypic and ecological features, samples were grouped into specific genera and species. There were identified the genera Geitlerinema, Schizothrix, Oculatella and Leptolyngbya. Part of the thesis is also a didactic appendix, which includs the theoretical and practical sections. The practical part contains a worksheet on the topic: Cyanobacteria in the teaching of elementary schools, compiled for the sixth grade.
