(118 979 znaků) + 1 CD ROM. -- Ved. práce Helena Grecmanová. -- Oponent Veronika Gigalová. -- Abstract: Cílem magisterské práce je popsat strategie seniorů v souvislosti se vzdělávacím procesem. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy vztahující se ke stáří, stárnutí, seniorovi, jeho očekávání a strategie zapojení se do vzdělávacího procesu. Vzdělávání dospělých, v této práci zaměřeno, na seniory, je ovlivněno nejen motivaci k učení, ale především bariérami. Pozitivní energie v podobě vnitřní motivace stojí na jedné straně. Na druhé straně senioři narážejí na bariéry. Důležitá je podpora i ze strany rodiny. Východiska teoretické části poskytly podklad pro kvalitativní výzkum. Technikami šetření byly strukturované rozhovory se seniory ve vzdělávací instituci a přímé pozorování. Na základě provedených analýz rozhovorů a pozorování bylo vytvořeno třináct případových studií. Všechny studie potvrdily pozitivní vnitřní motivaci ke vzdělávání, ale strategie seniorů pro zapojení se do procesu vzdělávání měla různé důvody. Rozšíření si vzdělání nebylo prvotním cílem u všech. Všichni se shodli na největší bariéře, kterou je osobní zdravotní stav.. -- Abstract: The aim of the Master's thesis is to describe the strategy of the elderly in the context of the educational process. The theoretical part defines terms related to old age, aging, senior, his expectations, and strategies of involvement in the educational process. Adult education, in this work focused on the elderly, is not only influenced motivation for learning, but above all barriers. The positive energy in the form of intrinsic motivation is on the one hand. On the other side of the seniors face barriers. Important is the support from the side of the family. Starting points the theoretical part provided a basis for qualitative research. The techniques of investigation were structured interviews with the elderly in an educational institution, and direct observation. On the basis of the analyses carried out interviews and observation was created by the thirteen case studies. All the studies have confirmed a positive internal motivation for learning, but the strategies of seniors for involvement in the process of education had different reasons. The expansion of education was not the primary objective at all. All agreed on the largest barrier, which is a personal health status.
