Mimo charakteristiky základních pojmů uvádí údaje z historie péče o seniory a popisuje některé strategické dokumenty a legislativu. Zabývá se také specifiky péče o seniory a formami péče. Upozorňuje na problematické situace v péči o seniory a popisuje přímé způsoby péče. Praktická část předkládá subjektivní pohled seniorů na domácí péči, na její možnosti, pozitiva a negativa.. -- Abstract: The thesis deals with the komplex home care for the elderly people in the Czech republic. Besides characteristics of basic concepts, the thesis presents data from the history of senior care and describes some strategic documents and legislation. It also deals with specifics of senior care and forms of care. It draws attention to the problematic situations in senior care and describes direct methods of care. The practical section of the thesis presents subjective views of the elderly people on home care, on its options, pozitives and negatives.
