Mehrabianova mýtu o komunikaci, tj. užívání kvantifikovaného poměru 7-38-55 (obsah slov-tón hlasu-mimika), potažmo generalizované dvojice 7-93, kdy dochází k nepatřičnému nadhodnocování významu neverbální složky zejména v důsledku neznalosti kontextuálních skutečností jejich vzniku. Hlavními cíli je tak představit původní okolnosti a průběh obou experimentů, jejichž sloučenými závěry Mehrabianova rovnice vznikla, následně zmapovat způsob užívání čísel 7-38-55, resp. 7-93 v populárně naučném diskurzu i v prostředí českého internetu a na základě analýzy obsahu vybraných popularizačních publikací a příspěvků na webových stránkách pod hledaným heslem 93 % komunikace neverbální demonstrovat, do jaké míry autoři reflektují a jakým způsobem naopak překračují limity v jejich užívání. Ilustrujeme, zda lze stále hovořit o "interpretování" výsledků Mehrabianových experimentů či se autoři pohybují již výhradně v rovině (nesčetných) reinterpretací a užívání výrazu "mýtus" lze označit za opodstatněné. K pochopení intencí badatelů je však nejprve nutné konceptualizovat základní pojmy, současně téma zasadit do širšího rámce a soustředit se na komplexní přístup Alberta Mehrabiana k problematice neverbální komunikace vůbec.. -- Abstract: This BA thesis focuses on the issue of the so-called Mehrabian's Myth about communication, i.e. the usage of a quantified ratio 7-38-55 (word content-voice tone-facial expressions), or rather generalized pairs 7-93, when undue overvaluation of the non-verbal component´s significance occurs, especially as a result of ignoring the contextual realities of their formation. The main objective is therefore to present the original circumstances and development of both experiments, the combined conclusions of which led to Mehrabian's equation, subsequently map the method of using the numbers 7-38-55, or rather 7-93 in popular educative discourse as well as the Czech internet environment, and based on the analysis of the content of selected popularizing publications and contributions on websites under the searched for password 93% communication non-verbal demonstrate to what extent do authors reflect and in what way on the contrary do they exceed the limits in their usage. We illustrate whether it is possible to still speak of "interpretation" of the results of Mehrabian's experiments, or whether the authors move exclusively on a level of (countless) reinterpretations and the usage of the term "myth" can be described as legitimate. To understand the researchers´ intentions it is however first necessary to conceptualize the basic notions, concurrently set the topic into a wider framework and focus on Albert Mehrabian's complex approach to the issue of non-verbal communication in general.
